AXE THROWING
Looking to bring out your inner lumberjack, or needing a creative outlet? Look no further at Cambria Survival! Here, we offer a range of axe throwing courses which are tailored to meet your party’s individual requirements and skill level, all while located in the beautiful woodlands of South Wales.
We offer three levels of intensity to suit your personal needs. With all equipment provided for, simply find the skill level that you are comfortable with, or call us to design your personalised course. All courses will span the course of a weekend, with food and accommodation provided within the package.  

Bronze - Perfect for beginners, this level offers an introduction to axe throwing, including hand positioning, stance and stationary bullseye training. 

Silver - Ideal for intermediaries who are looking to perfect their aim. This course introduces axe throwers to long distance throwing, non-stationary throwing, and bullseye training. 

Gold - Test your abilities to the extreme. Pits axe throwers against one another to be crowned the one true champion.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
Here are some of the key skills you will be learning, regardless of skill level: 

  • Know how to correctly and safely handle an axe. 
  • Learn how to effectively position yourself to throw an axe.
  • Know how to aim with an axe.
  • Learn how to care for and maintain your axe.
  • Learn how to carve and chop wood. 
  • Have succeeded in hitting a bullseye.

BOOKING & PRICES

Once we have received your enquiry and set a date, we will require a 25% deposit of your total amount to confirm your booking, and then the remaining amount will be paid on the day. Please note that if a party member is absent on the day, the full amount for all personnel on the initial booking will still be required to be paid.

As a complete beginner to survival and woodland activities, never before did I think that I could ever hit a bullseye with an axe! Thanks to the amazing instructors, who were so patient and genuinely excited to get others into axe throwing. As a group, those who were naturals were able to move up a level of intensity, while I was able to learn the bare basics. It was a brillaint way to learn something new, whilst in the company of all of my friends. If I can do it, anyone can!
